Judge Joshua Lee Queen has served as Cherokee County Probate Judge since February 2004.
Josh graduated from Gaffney High School in 1996. He received a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from Clemson University in 2000, and received a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School Of Law in 2003. Judge Queen is a member of the South Carolina Association of Probate Judges and the South Carolina Bar. In addition to his duties in the judicial system, Josh is also the Head Coach of the Gaffney Middle School Boys Basketball team.
Judge Queen has previously served as Drug Court Judge for the 7th Judicial Circuit Adult Drug Court Program. Judge Queen has also served in many leadership roles with the South Carolina Association of Probate Judges, the South Carolina Bar, and the Chief Justiceâs Probate Judge Advisory Committee, and he has been a lecturer at several Continuing Legal Education seminars for various associations.
