The following traffic calming project slots are available within the Fiscal Year 2025-2026 budget.

  • July 1st 2025 – August 15th 2025 : Vienna Road
  • August 15th 2025 – December 1st 2025
  • February 15th 2026 – April 1st 2026
  • April 1st 2026 – May 15th 2026
  • May 15th 2026 – June 30th 2026

July 1st 2025 – August 15th 2025 : Vienna Road Gaffney, SC 29340

  • Initial Petition signed by all residents on Vienna Road provided to Cherokee County
  • Traffic Study Completed
  • Proposed Traffic Calming Plan Created
  • Letters Sent to all Residents Notifying them of proposed plan and signatures requested from residents directly adjacent to proposed speed humps.

Roads Requested:

  • Oak Ridge Road – August 2024 — Did not qualify, road owned by SCDOT
  • Vienna Road – August 2024 — Did qualify, Traffic Calming Process Underway
  • Farmington Road – December 2024 — May qualify, pending next available budgeted traffic calming timing slot
  • Byers Circle – May 2025 — May qualify, Pending decision from CTC on whether or not this road will be paved in FY25/26
  • Cherokee Creek Road – July 2025 — May qualify, Pending available budgeted traffic calming time slot
