Cherokee County Council has seven members who are elected to staggered four-year terms.
These members serve as a link between county government and the citizens of Cherokee County. They also represent the countyâs concerns and interests when dealing with local, state or federal governments.
The Cherokee County administrator serves at the pleasure of council.
